It’s cold, of course! And it has many different forms. It can be light and fluffy when it falls slowly in those pretty snowflakes that really do look like those crystal designs in pictures, or tiny snow balls when those flakes clump together on the way down, or icy pellets that can sting — and everything in between. And the same thing once it’s on the ground: fluffy, sticky, or icy hard. When it’s freshly fallen as flakes it really does sparkle like scattered diamonds: truly, it is like a fairyland, especially when it sticks to the tree branches so they’re all outlined in white! It also makes the world quieter as it muffles sounds, so everything seems more magical when it’s snowing. I hope you get the chance to see it one day!
